South African Hunting Safaris | South African Trophy Hunting

Tumuga Hunting Safaris

Our Species List:

South Africa offers you the opportunity to hunt a wide variety of species. South Africa is the only country where you can still hunt the entire Big Five, including elephant, rhino (white), buffalo, lion and leopard. Our country offers some of the continent's finest hunting opportunities with a wide variety of other species. Animals that offer exceptionally good hunting opportunities include the greater kudu, blue wildebeest, nyala, Cape eland, southern impala, common waterbuck, klipspringer, and more. The hunting of certain species does require CITES permits through Nature Conservation.

South Africa is home to twenty-nine antelope species, more than any other country in Africa. Twenty-six of these species are huntable and seven of them can be found only in South Africa. South Africa is the only country that offers the "Mini Five" - five small antelope from the following group: grey duiker, red duiker, blue duiker, suni, oribi and Cape grysbuck.

South Africa also offers wonderful bird shooting opportunities. There is a great variety of birds available, including fourteen huntable species of duck, two species of goose, ten types of pheasant, guinea fowl, pigeons, doves and quail.

The following species are available for hunting at Tumuga Hunting Safaris.
